Cerious Technologies NEW Graphene Cables

Now, this is not a advertisement, just a posting sharing my experience on some well made great sounding cables at a very reasonable price. Besides, I don't think Cerious Technologies is set up for a big influx of cable orders.

But, if you get the chance to try these cables, please do.

I have been interested in the newer cables coming out that are using Graphene as a conductor. SR cables seemed interesting, but I always hated the way there cables had all those extra wires (with the active shields and such). I then noticed an ad early in I think November or December from Cerious Technologies for Graphene cables. I investigated how the cables were assembled and it seemed like quite a laborious process.

I ordered (with a 30 day money back guarantee) the balanced Graphene interconnects, and boy did they impress me. Such depth, soundstage, realism, frequency smoothness, effortless sound. I was truly impressed!  I now have a complete loom of the Cerious Technologies Graphene cables. That is; interconnects, speaker cables, digital cables and power cords.

I ended up selling all of my other cables and to those of you who have read my postings know that cables have always been my curiosity.

So, as I began this post, let me again iterate, I have no alliance to the company, my posting is for those of you looking for an great alternate high quality Graphene made cable without spending a fortune.

@ozzy

How do they compare to your current speaker cables? Will your current cables be on the used market soon? Are you going to be trying the Infigo SC’s, since the IC’s are such a success in your system? Thanks

Ozzy I don't see the Luminscate speaker cable on their website could you give me a ballpark price for a 8ft run?

@ozzy, thanks for the information regarding the Luminscate speaker cables.

I'll be interested to hear about the interconnects and power cords also whenever someone has demoed them.

Hi ozzy: Please draw a comparison of the Cerious Luminscate to the Ifigo Signature cables sonics. Thanks in advance. Jeff

So, I have had the pleasure of trying Bob’ new speaker cables called the Luminscate. I have had them breaking in for a week now.

Well, it looks like Bob hit another home run. These cables have awesome bass, treble, midrange, depth, soundstage. All of the qualities of a high-end cable.

Highly recommended.

I am expecting big things from Bob's new products. He is very creative; I really like that.

@ozzy, looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the Lumniscate speaker cables as well as from others that are beta testers of the new Lumniscate cables in general.

Since I just purchased some interconnects (different brand) that are still breaking in, I want to go slowly and methodically before introducing another brand of cables.

I asked Bob if he had a short set of speaker cables of his new "Lumniscate" that I could try and I am now in the process of burning them in. But I can post a few visual comments thus far.

My first reaction is that they look and feel very nice. They seem to be heavier and thicker than I remember the Matrix to be.

In a couple more weeks I will post my sonic impression.

@lancelock : I use a pair of the Matrix IC cables and a power cord. They are outstanding, especially for the price. I look forward to your detailed assessment of Bob's new line of cabling. He's  one of the really good guys in audio.

Good news! I have burning-in a set of Bob Grost (Cerious Technologies) cables. This is Bob’s latest iteration of Graphene cables and supersedes the wonderful sounding Graphene Matriix line. He is using silver conductor as the backbone and adding graphene. I have speaker, interconnect and power cables. Once they are burned-in properly I will pull them out and insert them one at a time to try and determine which cables are making the biggest impact.

The new line is called “Lumniscate”. After installation I left for a couple hours and when I returned I couldn’t believe the immediate impact of what I was hearing. This will take some time to properly evaluate. More to come.

Hi everyone, Bob from Cerious. I notice discussions regarding Graphene and I will not get technical. There is not now, nor will there ever be, a pure Graphene conductor. Anyone who says they have one is not truthful. However, used to maximize the strengths of the material it can do great things. We use Graphene to counter the problems with metal based materials. Period. Just wanted to shed some light there. Look for coming new stuff...we have been busy...

@mtrot you could always contact Bob and ask him if he has any used/returned speaker cables etc, he might be able to hook you up.
Just checking in on this thread because I recently added a center channel speaker to my system.  For the center channel, dialog clarity clarity is of the upmost importance.  I have had Cerious GE cables for my front L/R speakers for several years now and clarity is perhaps their greatest strength.

Now I need a cable for the center speaker, if I can find it, to match the front L/R.  I only need the one cable, six feet should be plenty long.  I did just peruse the cables available on Agon and did not see any GE cables, much less a single cable for a center speaker.
Any ideas on other cables that may come close to the clarity of the GE cables?  I'd be open to other brands if they are of similar clarity and sound quality.
For anyone who has changed from CT Extreme to another speaker cable -
Do you consider the Extreme to be slightly full on bass/midbass in comparison?
Got a blue 5ft GE power cable in good condition available for sale. Pm if interested.
karma,
Is that a pair of interconnects or just one as stated? If it's a pair, what are you asking for them?
I got a blue graphene extreme power cord 15a 5 feet and a graphene extreme interconnect that I am selling if anyone needs it without any wait and at a good price
Although already mentioned previously, and some might disagree, I suggest the speaker cables and power cords be elevated off the floor. There should be a bit of improvement with any cable.
I installed my biwire Gaphene Extremes last night. Unlike my last cables, there are 2 full runs of cable, not just split at the end, and they are very heavy, which I wasn't expecting. Anyway, I was confident that I would hear a marked improvement, but as per my past experiences in this hobby, I'm never sure of what that improvement will sound like. As boxer12 says, they sound great, and I'm sure they will sound better.

They are giving me just what I would want and expect. I suppose because they suppress noise, everything sounds more open and clearly defined. Fine details are easy to hear, like soft background voices, inflections in a singers voice, and ambience, either real or artificial. I'm very satisfied, because they do for me what any worthwhile upgrade should do, which is bring me closer to the music. Great value for the money. Thanks Ozzy.

These speaker cables are settling in & sounding absolutely wonderful. This is the type of improvement (cable-wise) I've only experienced with power cables in the past. Very impressed.
Well you guys motivated me to buy the Graphene Extreme speaker cables. Bought a 10' used set directly from Cerious. Put them in this afternoon so they are settling in. They sound better than the Oyaide cables they replaced already. A tad congested right now (both me & the cables LOL) but I believe that will pass. Cerius is a great company to deal with. They were very responsive with me.
Thanks Ozzy. I'm excited because I love the digital cable and the power cord. I feel pretty confident that I'm going to like them.
I was finally able to buy a biwired set of Graphene Extreme speaker cables today after wanting them badly for 21/2 years. Robert had a clearance sale. I am going to hook them up tonight and see what happens.
I don't understand what the nonsense is all about. The GM cables sound great in my setup.  I've auditioned much more expensive cable and prefer these.  I know little about how they are made, nor do I care.
Frankly, I've never given a rip about how components are made or what parts are being used.  Yes, the ingredients are important, but at the end of the day it's all in how it sounds TO YOU.  In your room.  With your components.
I've been at this for 40+ years and have owned a component from almost all manufacturers of note over the years (Audio Research, CJ, Wilson, Jadis, CAT, Wilson, MIT, Linn, Transparent, Synergistic, PS Audio, Accuphase, etc.).  The ultimate arbiter are my own two ears, though I really do look to Forums/posters I trust for ideas on components I should consider.  I learned about CT on this board, and I am happy I did.

Just my two cents.
I don't really understand the direction that ptss has taken this thread since 11/5. I don't care to discuss graphene, all I attempted to do was to say that in some cases after interconnects or speaker cables are moved they require some settle in time. I have found that is especially true with the GE and Matrix products in my opinion.

The MIT facts are irrelevant. Wonder what NASA’s facts are. 🚀

We ain't gonna be treated like trash

" For those interested in this thread; take a look at the CPT thread. A scammer - gone. Money lost by genuine folk. Very sad. Do your due diligence on Graphene. Check the MIT -Mass Inst of Tech for some
truth on the matter "

ptss  -   Your statement is close to being libelous and is blitheringly illogical.

You ineptly equate a recidivist who took people's money and did not deliver product with a businessman who has provided numerous innovative products to highly satisfied customers.

Are you always this obtuse and confused?
Psst! Hey, ptss, you’re supposed to wear a helmet when you go into battle.
ptss,

Have you ever tried the Cerious Matrix cables?
Regardless as to how it is made theses cables have a quality that makes the music sound so alive. More so than any other cable I have tried.

It’s as usual. BSers are so sensitive. And. When they have nothing real to say- revert to petty name calling. I mean really - who’d make fun of some vet with post traumatic stress syndrome. I say put a gun in their hand and send them to the front line ;)

Just wondering if the moniker 'ptss" stands for "petty troll says something"? Seems like a good fit.
@lak. Are you on the payroll for this company. Do you have any idea about graphene. Or are you in the Fantasyland part of Disney World. Just respond to 2 questions to verify you’re not a spambot
In the old days good folks would call people like you idiots and you’re uncle Bob charlatans. Good old days-monkeys called what they were. You may call me Honest-just like Abe:)
@ozzy .  You’re joking- right Ozzy :). Liguid  Graphene (unobtanium) in Liquid Ceramic -clay. And I know - Bob’s your uncle. We have an old saying. BS,MS and PhD. You’ve definitely got it Piled Higher n Deeper.
