Cerious Technologies NEW Graphene Cables

Now, this is not a advertisement, just a posting sharing my experience on some well made great sounding cables at a very reasonable price. Besides, I don't think Cerious Technologies is set up for a big influx of cable orders.

But, if you get the chance to try these cables, please do.

I have been interested in the newer cables coming out that are using Graphene as a conductor. SR cables seemed interesting, but I always hated the way there cables had all those extra wires (with the active shields and such). I then noticed an ad early in I think November or December from Cerious Technologies for Graphene cables. I investigated how the cables were assembled and it seemed like quite a laborious process.

I ordered (with a 30 day money back guarantee) the balanced Graphene interconnects, and boy did they impress me. Such depth, soundstage, realism, frequency smoothness, effortless sound. I was truly impressed!  I now have a complete loom of the Cerious Technologies Graphene cables. That is; interconnects, speaker cables, digital cables and power cords.

I ended up selling all of my other cables and to those of you who have read my postings know that cables have always been my curiosity.

So, as I began this post, let me again iterate, I have no alliance to the company, my posting is for those of you looking for an great alternate high quality Graphene made cable without spending a fortune.

Unfortunately the SC and IC's never opened up for me. So I return them. Now I use cables with magnets in them :)  More expensive but they work much better in my system.
If anything this helps Bob regardless what the topic is about. The thread is always bumped near the top. I would have never known this cable existed if it was off the first page.
All the HFC cables come in XLR! Go see for yourself on there website.

The Pro series 1m is only 30k....go for it maybe it will edge out the CT's?

I have just compared the Cerious Technologies Graphene XLR interconnects to the new Reveal ( magnet) XLR interconnects. Although others have claimed the magnet interconnects to be superior to the Cerious. I’m here to tell you that I am not one.

Once I removed and replaced the Cerious Graphene cables with the magnet cable the sound stage became dark, lacking separation and the frequency extremes. I did this comparison over some time after letting each version settle in for a few days.

Now, this could be that I have a complete loom of all Cerious cables and substituting just one interconnect from another manufacturer is not fair. But I cannot afford the prices charged for the magnet cables to try and replace all of the Cerious Graphene cables.

Again, this is in my system and with my ears, so your impression may be different. But this "audiophile" is sticking with the Cerious Technologies Graphene cables.

Why would this outcome be any different compared to the tests you did with HFC in the past? Just because they are XLR? Its an inferior product to HFC products you tried. Seems like you all you wanted to do was just bash the product from what I can see.
So many redundant posts about Bob being away on this thread or not being around to answer emails. Not sure if he has a auto-response feature to his email, but maybe someone can show him how to add one? It seems Audiogon has become an answering service. Then maybe work on his website ><
I might not care for your cables Bob, but your one entertaining ole cracker!
TIP of the Day: When auditioning Bobs cables: DO NOT TAKE THE PLASTIC WRAP OFF THE SHRINK WRAP. Apparently when you breath on them, the printed logo comes off. He complained to me about that when I returned mine. But in the end Bob did refund me, so thank you and I am sorry for ruining your cables Bob. :P
@calloway
Bob rated my returned SC's at a 7/10 lol #fact
What I did to ruin them was....Unpacked cables out of the box, took the plastic wrap off (BIG MISTAKE!), and installed them. Put 100+ hrs on them, packed them up and returned them. I was told I trashed them and they needed to be re-terminated in order to sell them as a demo pair. Oh I forgot one thing, I played some Jump Robe with them outside. Maybe that's what trashed them??
@calloway

I don’t need to reread his post :P
You might need to reread my post actually lol
I know how to break in cables by the way. I never touched the SC’s. Please don’t assume :)
I think there is some miscommunication. I do apologize if I didn’t word it correctly. I was just chiming in on MY EXPERIENCE with Bob. It was similar to the post below by jgoomba5 .  ...Kapeesh?
@maxima95
Let me explain so you understand.

Calloway Post
" Putting ’100+ hours on them’ is a passive process...requiring no handling of the cables."

My answer:
I played (broke in) the cables for 100+ hours. During the break-in period. I did not interrupt them or touch them during this process. No physical contact. Though I did get the urge to touch them, my wife was in the room and I felt its was inappropriate.

P.S
For the record so this isnt furthered misunderstood
Bob rated my returned SC’s a 7/10
Bob rated jgoomba5 ’s cable return a 6/10

Bob help they are attacking me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Use your Batman Negative Conductor Graphene  Gun on them!!!!!!!!!
Keep in mind..if the Reveal are used in the system before the other cables. The other cables get the effect of the magnets. So its best to install the HFC products last and they need a few days to allow the effect of the magnets to work. The HFC are not the best to A/B.

In my system the GE IC's sounded very different than the Reveals.
2 months!!
How is someone suppose to get a true sense of these cables with a 30 day audition?
Maybe that's why I returned mine? They were untouched throughout my audition btw.
I think the owner of Cerious Tech is the one that needs to be thanking Ozzy the most$$$

Just sayin
@grannyring

These cables got very dull after about 3 days of settling down when I tried them. So that might be a good thing for you if you find them a little bright. I actually prefer them at the beginning stages of burn in. Still a good cable that I do recommend to people here and there.
Are you both going to use the new Cerious Matrix powercords with the Deep Core?

@ozzy

How do they compare to your current speaker cables? Will your current cables be on the used market soon? Are you going to be trying the Infigo SC’s, since the IC’s are such a success in your system? Thanks
