Sexiest Pop Song Ever?

What do you think is the sexiest pop song ever (not classical, jazz etc.)? I'm a guy, so I'm pretty much scanning through the portfolio of female pop music over the last 40 years or so. I can point to some sexy Kate Bush tunes (Wuthering Heights), Joni Mitchell (take your pick), some good stuff from the female singers of Zero Seven, Carly Simon, Christine McVie, Chaka Khan, Diana Ross et. al.

For me the song that gets my testostaroni going is "Sarah" by Stevie Nicks, off the Tusk album. The opening keyboards and her angelic voice do it for me like no other. When she sings the line about "undoing the laces", well it doesn't get any sexier to me. A truly great song.

Now what's yours?

"Pillow Talk" by Sylvia. She orgasm's toward the end. At least through my system.....
Any warm blooded vinyl loving audiophile gotta perk up for This Classic which is NOT about what what all the rest thought it was!
Captain & Tennille-Deep In The Dark-Toni was in peak vocal form on a recording that approaches reference level sound quality!
I'm on Fire, by Springsteen, is very sexy in my book. I heard a great version of it by a woman, and, as a man, I found it even more sexy.
Joan Osborne's, "Right Hand Man".

Great melody, great lyrics, fabulous sonics.

(Plus, when you've finished listening to that you can also listen to "One Of Us", one the hookiest songs ever... written by Eric Bazilian of The Hooters whose album "Nervous Nights" might very well be the hookiest album ever)
Love to Love You by Donna Summer is the sexiest song ever, followed by Maria Mauldaur, "Don't you Make Me High".
A few that I don't think have been mentioned:

Patricia Barber's cover of "Light My Fire"
Dave Matthews "Say Good-bye"
Diana Krall's cover of "A Case of You"
Christy Baron, "This Must Be You"
Melissa Etheridge - Bring Me Some Water. Not creamy/dreamy sexy, but intense/gutsy sexy.
1- Dreams by Fleetwood Mac (Stevie Nicks)- voted by me as the best song to play during a blowj*b.

2- I touch myself by the Divynils - 'nuff said.

3- Any song by Susan Hoffs and the Bangles. She's a babe...
I concur with Mcrosier regarding Julie London's recordings. I have 12 of her lp's and essentially all are heavily laced with her sensual singing. Another contender from that era is Abbe Lane with "Lady in Red" and "Where There's a Man."

In more modern times, Charlotte Gainsbourg's "5:55" has multiple songs that are sung in a provocatively breathless manner.
I am pretty fond of Julie London signing just about anything such as "Yummy Yummy Yummy" which features the lines

"Love, you're such a sweet thing, Good enough to eat thing. And that's just a-what I'm gonna do"

or you can enjoy her singing "Go Slow" where she delivers the timeless lines

"Go slow, ooh honey, take it easy on the curves; When love is slow, ooh honey, what a tonic for my nerves. Go slow, ooh honey, we've got such a lot of time;" at the end she whispers "You Make Me Feel So Good".

And then there is her amazing take on "My Heart Belongs to Daddy", where she delivers the lines

"If I invite a boy some night. To dine on my fine food and haddiem I just adore, his asking for more"

in a way that doesn't leave much to the imagination.
Try "I Need Love" by LL Cool J. Seriously. Some years back, I saw
Luka Bloom do an acoustic cover version in concert that - judging by the
reaction of the women around me - must get him endless action.

Marty

PS - in a related vein,
"Tonight I'm Gonna Give The Drummer Some" by Amy Rigby. She
used to be married to the drummer Will Rigby (The DBs). I gather that Will
liked to bitch about the rock drummer's fate (only guy in the band who can't
get laid - Tommy Lee excepted), so Amy wrote the tune. More funny than
sexy, but close enough.
Eerae,

Try this one - it is sexy but also so sadly beautiful Imogen Heap Banket The song is about how music is her escape from the world. So nice to watch Tal on bass - what a talented lass. Although Vinne is amazing - I would have preferred Jeff to have hired Cindy Blackman for drums and let Imogen play keyboards -which would have him backed by extremely talented all girl "sidemen"!!!
If we're talking female singers then as far as new music I would have to agree with Shirley Manson, and also add Amy Lee (Evanescence). And this may not actually be "pop," but the one song that really makes me melt is "On My Own" as sung by Frances Ruffelle (London cast recording of Les Miserables).
Loving you by Minnie Ripperton...oh wait a minute, I thought you wanted Sickest song not sexiest...my mistake
"Not the Only One", Bonnie Raitt, from the "Luck of the Draw" lp does it for me.
OK I'll go with "Look Of Love" by Dusty Springfield for general honors.

"I Touch Myself" for straight out pop song with the lewdest title and theme that many have heard.

Honorable mention to "Wicked Game" by Chris Isaak.

How about" Physical" by Olivia Newton John or the "You're the One that I Want", as performed in the movie "Grease"?
Not hot, raw sexy but slow, smouldering sexy:
1. Lenny Welch - Since I Fell For You
2. Rod Stewart - Tonight's The Night
Christina Aguilera's new album Back To Basics has a couple very sexy tracks:
"Candyman" and "Nasty Naughty Boy".
"Crash Into Me" by Dave Matthews is very hot.

Hike up your skirt a little more
and show your world to me.
Hike up your skirt a little more
and show your world to me.

Oh, I watch you there
through the window
And I stare at you
You wear nothing but you
wear it so well
Tied up and twisted,
the way I'd like to be.
For you, for me, come crash
into me.
that song "Damn, wish I was your lover" is pretty hot, by Sophie B Hokins, Love to love you baby is good also. Sade is overall sexy, almost everything she sings can be a great date song.
If you've ever "really" heard it.
Art of Noise: "Moments in Love"
Up until about the 7 minute mark it is probably unintentionally the sexiest song ever. Those who know, know what I'm talking about.
It is the one of those songs that could literally play FOREVER on an endless loop and be OK with me.
(minus what happens between the 6:50 - 7:10 time stamp)
Bryan Ferry - 'Boys and Girls', the entire CD. Essential music for bedroom sports.
I like Prince "Do Me Baby", George Michael "I Want Your Sex" and Rick James "Give It To Me Baby" and "Super Freak"

Not pop but r&b Betty Wright"Tonight's The Night" the live version of that song. Some of the words go something like this " tonight is the night you make me a woman, you said you'll be gentle with me and I hope you will, i'm nervous, i'm trembling waiting for you to walk through the door".
I think it's called "he made a woman outta me" off the Crossroads (Ry Cooder) soundtrack.
OMG...I have watched this thread for several days...such lame suggestions...pop just ain't the medium for this, IMHO, I mean come on ...."My baby takes the morning train", Sheena Easton , "Heart of Glass" or "Rapture" by Blondie or "Zig A Zig ahhhh" by the Spice girls or "China Girl" by Bowie just doesn't cut it...

The sexy genres are ROCK and blues and possibly punk (Nina Hagen);

My vote is for;
Pink - Aerosmith
Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap - ACDC
Honky Tonk Woman - Rolling Stones

I don't mean to highjack the thread but pop is well, just Pop...as in Hey Big Spender "I don't pop my cork for every man I see...." kinda lame if you get what I mean...

"Sway"
Written by Norman Gimbel and Pablo Beltran Ruiz
Sung by Anita Kelsey
From the movie "Dark City"

Watching Jennifer Connelly lipsink to that song.....
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, Jennifer Connelly!

also

Sara McLaughlin's "Possession" on the "Fumbling Towards Ecstasy" album.

Kate Bush - "The Man with the Child in his Eyes" from "The Kick Inside" album.
I'll second "Fever", but the one I'm thinking of is by Peggy Lee. Also, I just Don't Understand by Ann Margret is up there too!!
"Make Love" by Carmen Lundy. Make love, all day and all night. A love song from a mature and sexy woman.
