Apple

Spotify

The Big 3 record companies

• Sony BMG
• Universal Music Group
• Warner Music Group

These labels can make up almost 80% of the music market or even more—depending on the year.

In the high end vinyl corner, Chad Kessem is more powerful than Musk & Bezos combined.

If this is about moving the needle in audio, I'd have Schiit on my list. I'm not a fanboy, but they are really unavoidable.

Brands like MBL, Magico don't make the list. Their expensive stuff turn people on, but they're outliers.

I was actually thinking companies influential in the Audio World

although the WHO would qualify.

The five I mention are  heavy promoters anxious to

up their brand and believe that a large presence will

generate sales and credibility.

As I follow the big 5 Youtube Reviewers it is more apparent

every year that payola is alive and well.

Their 2 top anchors have been reliably accused of sexual assaults, one is already fired. 

It has to be CNN.
