As said earlier, the Swiffer is also excellent at removing a stylus and cantilever from a cartridge. So be very careful when using near a turntable.

I think someone needs to make a handle for the Swiffer out of Myrtle wood or maybe cryogenically treated rhodium to better attract the dust molecules. Also, it should be stored well off the floor to not absorb microvibrations which would dispel the dust molecules before they could be effectively gathered. 

Don't forget the rubber bands and springs, we must not forget the springs....
