He's now doing the great  gig in the sky.

Hanging out with Moon, Bonham and all the rest. No having to deal with trying  to cancel your cable TV subscription or traffic.

Time for some Air Force later today methinks, I just got one on R2R.

Which I see now have all roughly doubled in price... That part is very sad.

What a tremendous loss. His drumming talent rates among the highest.

Yes I read that story, pretty well done imho.

I actually liked a lot of his later more jazz rock orientated stuff than some of the earlier Cream work.

But that's just me of course.

Ginger always considered himself a jazz drummer first yet the press is fixated on labeling him a rock drummer.  I learned the news this morning through the CNN headline "Ginger Baker, one of rock's most gifted drummers...."

Doubt that.  Based on that wapo article, he thought those guys were hacks and was insulted they would be mentioned in the same breath as his highness.  Certainly nobody’s hero.

Talent sometimes comes with personal demons and he certainly had his share.  Certainly a loss for those who loved him and his music.  RIP.
