This AI silliness is becoming increasingly common. On another thread, there’s a user trying to enforce a forum rule and demands "a public admonishment of Doug and a lifetime ban without an apology."

But the "rule" doesn’t exist outside of AI. It can’t be found anywhere in A’gon’s guidelines.

Then we have the lengthy copy-and-paste of various AI renderings as though we can’t retrieve those on our own. I ignore them.

AI can be useful if its used as a starting point and even then should be taken with a big grain of salt. I've had AI analyze my system which it says is "world class." Then I put in pretty much random components and it gives pretty much the same answer. It sure seems that it is programmed, like Fox News and MSNBC, to tell you what you want to hear. People like to be told that they are thin, attractive and smart so AI acquires credibility in that way.

Making a dumb audio decision is relatively harmless, but I hear some people are actually taking medical advice from some AI app they know nothing about. Scary.

I wish they’d pass laws that require AI created videos to be labeled as such. 

Anyway - Merlin, Lazarus, and Discrete Technology (DIstech) are 3 dead brands that come to mind.
