For the nostalgic FM listener

1949 REL 646B FM receiver

REL 646B FM Tube Receiver Radio Engineering Labs Clean / Extra Module For Sale - US Audio Mart

Probably will be a $1K+ restoration, but you’ll have a KILLER office/vacation cabin piece. Pair with a vintage horn and period table. Might be a challenge finding an FM tech competent for this type of equipment.

Swing some Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald the proper way!

Yup. Notice I wrote "a vintage horn"

You could wire a stereo  multiplex unit for FM broadcast.

Another piece to hunt for.

"That's a piece of history, connected with Edwin Armstrong, who held patents on early FM, and was engaged in a running battle with Sarnoff. "
