Coincidently, I have both cartridges (low output Dynavector) and the same phono preamp. The rest of the chain consists of a Technics SL-1200G turntable, Parasound A21+ amp, and Magnepan 1.7i speakers.
My overall impression is that the Hana ML is smoother and more consistent on the mids. The Dynavector is punchier and emphasizes the high ends more. It might be a bit more analytical. Both are fantastic cartridges. I tend to use the Hana with vocals and jazz combos and the Dynavector with music that has more dynamics. Honestly, I could (and do) go with either with any type of music. If you’re choosing between the two is hard to go wrong either way.
