Recommendations for hearing aids

this is the software that you use on your smartphone for my Audicus Omni Series 2; Philips has their own similar software, all modern ones do, it becomes easy after a bit of practice

They have one setup called ’Live Music’ which I use when listening to music in an audience or listening to my system.

My Audicus/Android phone use both the mic and the speaker of my hearing aids for phone calls, so I can leave the phone on my desk and walk to another room, and the person can hear me, with some, you might hear, but it needs the mic in the phone for them to hear you, and you left it in the other room.

I've been wearing hearing aids for over 20 years, and get new ones every 4 or 5 years as technology advances. I used to pay $6K - $8K at an audiologist, now I go to the audiologist at my local Costco (he's one with a lot of experience) and most recently got a pair of Jabra hearing aids for $1500, plus another $60 for custom ear molds. 

Definitely, concur with the Costco Hearing aid center, a cost effective, value oriented option. 

The audiologists that I have met professionally and socially are not interested in music appreciation.  I think speech recognition is all they care about.  If I ever find one that prioritizes music then I will patronize them but so far the recommendations that I have gotten from people whom I trust are all for different cities
