New to this hobby please help me
I have Goldenear Triton One Rs and am very happy with them. I went to the Orange County audio show this summer and have listened to music at multiple stereo shops and audiophile friends homes. I would buy the Triton One.Rs again. I think the t66s ...
If Warmth Is a Distortion, Why Do So Many Audiophiles Still Defend It?
I have been thinking about this question for a long time. Please consider the following: A live orchestra typically sounds warm, thanks to the acoustics of a concert hall and the combined frequencies of the instruments, though it can vary based o...
Anyone in this hobby lonely like me and wish they could “hang” with a fellow audiophile?
It would be a lot easier if this forum allowed people to contact each other about forming local audio groups. I do not think it would effect the sales end as most groups are very local. Sales are regional or sometimes national.
What decibel level do you listen at? What is ideal?

Streamer, no DAC please?
I too recommend Innuos streamers. The Sense app is fairly intuitive and works well with Qobuz. I bought a dealers demonstration Pulse last year and have been very happy with it.
Streamers and software
I went from a Bluesound vault (yes the original) to the node n130 streaming Qobuz. It worked well.  I then went to an Innuos Pulse streaming Qobuz. I like  the Innuos software more than the Bluesound software. The Innuos support is much better tha...
Discerning a difference between streamers is difficult...only me or common for all?
Ten years ago I bought the original blue sound vault. At first it was good enough. Over time I went back to vinyl. About a year ago i started to convert my system to optimize streaming. I bought a holo spring 3 level 2 dac and used the vault as a ...
