Sonus Faber Olympica Nova 2 vs Nova 3

I just moved into a new apartment in Jerusalem and am considering the Sonus Faber speakers as asside from sounding real good they really look beautiful.

I thought the Nova ii would work well for me - but I can get the Nova iii for just $2,500 more than the Nova ii.

Is the Nova iii a significant improvement sound-wise over the Nova ii ?

Also does the Nova iii  appear physically much larger the Nova ii ? I have a nice size living room - but the stereo system will be in my living room so I am concerned with the size of the speakers ?

Thx,

S

Thanks for your response My Living Room / Dining Room area is a large rectangle of 18 x 25 feet - but the speakers will be on the longer wall facing the couch/chair (less than) 18 feet away and the speakers also won't be out in the middle room but more like maybe 2 feet off the wall.

I thought maybe the Nova iii had a different overall design than the Nova ii and thus maybe had a better midrange and treble.

Thanks

Steve

Hav8ng owned these speakers , the Pretty New Sonetto G2-8

has tons of their flagships trickle down technologies , and for sure better in several areas  for Everything is New , and $9k retail  is easilly in the $15k+ range

read a few reviews and go to their website to see exactly what I am saying

the only thing better is the solid wood panels on the older ones ,vs the Veneer

that being said they do veneers very well !!

Definitely Nova 3. Your room is not the small and the 3 brings complete coherence to a deeper bass level.  I owned Olympica 3 for many years. They are great speakers.
