There was an AM underground station in Charlotte NC back in the early 70's and one of the DJ's played Free Bird for 2 straight DAYS! He was so tired of getting requests, he tried his own Therapy on his audience. It was hillarious! Over and Over and Over and Over again.... Of course the station's motto was "the station with balls" |
Free Bird by Skynard of course, reminds me of my good old single days. Ahhhhh! Me and the fellas and joyriding night on the town. Many nights cruising the strips, looking for woman, but mostly hanging out having fun. It's all a distant memory now, got teenagers of my own now. But when I hear Free Bird, I still want to put the windows down, kick the old lady out, grab a six-pack and cruise. |
