My wife passed yesterday

I just wanted to share with my Audiogon brothers that my wife of 20 years passed on 10/25/14 from a heart attack. She loved good audio and good music and she supported me in my hobby at every turn. I haven't been able to listen to any music since her death, but I hope I will find comfort in it going forward. She never at any time criticized me for spending so much on audio and she always thought I should have what I liked. She was a rare individual and she will be missed by many people.

Chayro, my sympathy to you and your family.

May God be with you and your wife in Heaven, stay strong brother.
My condolences. *sigh* Live life to the fullest, and that includes indulging in high end audio, because you never know when your number is up, or in your case someone you loved and cared about...
I first read this thread with deep sorrow a couple nights ago. But at that time, I was unable to reply. However, I have had many thoughts about you and your situation. My condolences to you!!

Chayro, the loss of one so dear as a spounse, is devistating beyond words!! I do hope however, that along with the help of friends, family and your other endeavors -- that you, as I oftentime have -- may find some peace and solace in the music that we all so love. Take care....
Chayro, I am very sorry for your loss and pray God's peace for you and your family.

I was touched by your post and thank you so much for reaching out to our Audiogon community.

It is that rare individual that we ideally find as our life mate. You were blessed to have found yours to share the past 20 years with. Yes, she will be missed but as time passes may you reach the place that her memory makes you smile, rejoice and be thankful for the years you shared with her. Peace be with you. You have my deepest sympathy of your loss.
Chayro, that is horrible. As Schubert so rightly said, allow yourself the time and space to grieve and heal. Shalom....
Please accept my deepest condolences; my thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

My sincerest and belated condolence in your loss.
You had a rare experience that others only dream about.
May you find comfort soon.
I was sadly divorced earlier this year and I cannot imagine what you are experiencing, please know you are not alone in feeling loss and be sure to breathe.
Deepest condolences...my sister died of sudden stroke about three months ago. I was listening to music at the time of the call. The difficulty in realizing the loss persists, but I must say...music has helped me greatly find distraction.
I'm sorry to learn of your loss.
There is nothing anyone can say that will make things better but time heals all. Remember and chairish the good momories. With time you will return to enjoying the music.

My sincerest condolences. None of us is prepared for such a loss. I very much hope your memories will continue to be a source of comfort.
So deeply sorry for your loss, Chayro. It takes courage to share that here. Please accept my most profound condolences.
