EQ for hifi stereo

Is there a product that can be use with a stereo system: amp Moon W5 LE/ preamp  LS 26/ CD Player Moon Supernova/ and turntable use as room correction and also EQ ?  Will it harm the music presentation as definition: stamp of instrument, holographique music scene presentation ?  Have you try some of these components ?

Schiit make a neat little equaliser. I have no idea on room correction, it's a path I dare not go down as I'm happy with how everything is atm.
Buy a vintage SAE multi-band equalizer! Excellent gear - I own a nice collection of SAE!
The Schiit LOKI is a high fidelity tone control that works very well and is some what inexpensive.
The Loki also has a bypass switch. I'm considering getting one to help try to correct some of the deficiencies I hear in newer CDs I've ripped and some download files. Not sure if it will help but the Loki is only $129 new.

My question is where in the chain to put it? Before or after the DAC?
I just ranted about the Loki on another thread (right next to this one), and it's a serious little "do no harm" EQ that may be all you need. I really like the thing. I put mine between the preamp and power amp.

N80, most eqs I am familiar with have bypass capability. Refer to the thread indicated by lak.  Enjoy ! MrD.
You can put the LOKI either in-between your source and preamp or between your preamp and power amp so it can be used with all sources.
While implied, it works great ahead of any integrated, analog input.
Schiit in your system only works if you use it by manipulating it with your fingers.
