CJ gear is a very nice match for both Primaluna & B&W loudspeakers. Not sure about the mating w/ AP speakers?

I am using mixture of Nordost Heimdall and Frey2 across the board. |
I have the very similar ARTsa with an ET5. You cannot go wrong with cj. The sound is just magical and the quality is first rate. I have owned (and in the past sold) a lot of high end stuff and honestly must say that cj is second to none. |

Go for it. To make a long story short, I had a ss amp and CJ LP70 connected directly to my DAC. I borrowed a preamp and heard what I was missing. I listened to 3 preamps and settled on the ET5. I then rolled the tubes in the LP70 and was really happy until I heard it side by side to the LP125. Needless to say, I now have the LP125sa+ and sold my LP 70. The ss amps are soon to go. All I do now is listen to music. |
Thanks Cellorover. It's a big jump for me right now financially but I'm getting the two pieces for $14,000 (store demos with less than 100 hours and full warranty). Like you, I will be getting rid of the ss amp.
I will be bringing the gear home today for a 3 day audition - given my addictive tendencies, my guess is that the gear will not go back to the store! |

You may already know this but these units are for sale right now used on A'gon for a little over $10k. Considering CJ gear is good for at least 10 -20 years you may want to consider something with a few more miles. No relation to either seller. Just an avid CJ user for many, many years.

Well, I just couldn't get my arms around the CJ gear. In a completely different twist of events, I decided to go with the Luxman 590Ax Class A amp. |

I am glad I got the Luxman. It is a Class A amp that is very tube like. Great soundstage and detail. Plenty of features such as tone control, headphone amp and phono stages built in. Now I have a bunch of power cords and interconnects to sell!! |
I just picked up this combo for 8k from a store close out deal. They are going with the DS Psaudio dac and ryan speakers. we will see. |

I have CJ ET5 wonderful preamp even better if you replace tube with vintage Amperex. Very musical also get SR blue fuse this will raise the performance even more.Good luck with a wonderful preamp. |
jafant and oddifyl - I loved my Luxman and foolishly I sold it and got several other amps after it (Accuphase E-470, Gato AMP 150 and now and Accuphase E-600).
It is an exceptionally well crafted integrated amp and it's the amp I regret selling the most! I did by the Luxman and Gato from AVT in Nashua - they totally ROCK! |
