CD/SACD player Under $4000

I understand the Denon DCD-3000NE is supposed to be good.  I don't have any knowldge of it's performance other than favorable reviews.  Just one to check out.

@audphile1 My understanding is that that the Shanling

1) if playing a SACD and using the internal dac then it converts to PCM before it reaches the R2R dac, as the dac is only capable of receiving pcm.

2) if playing an sacd and using digital out, as long as you use I2s it is DSD, any other output will be DOP.

3) If using the r2r dac then pcm.

@demondessa correct. But I will not be using I2s out. My DAC doesn’t have i2s in 

The Denon DCD-3000NE is a relatively new SACD player on the market and is excellent. You can usually buy it for <$3300. Only downside is no XLR outputs.
