Thiel Owners

Guys-

I just scored a sweet pair of CS 2.4SE loudspeakers. Anyone else currently or previously owned this model?
Owners of the CS 2.4 or CS 2.7 are free to chime in as well. Thiel are excellent w/ both tubed or solid-state gear!

@jafant you can see my system on my profile page. I’m all over the board on music but listen more to classic rock and pop, more recent female vocalists as well as classical and jazz.

rjduncan - Your viability question deserves a long-form answer, which can come later. The short answer is the CS3.6 is very viable.

It contains ground-breaking tech in its 1992 timeframe, which still rivals state-of-the art. Its performance, especially per cost, is considered a pinnacle among Thiel's 40 products.

Adding a caution: Although the impedance is very resistive, it is very low. Among Thiel's difficult low impedances, the 3.6 is perhaps the lowest. You'll need an amp tht delivers current.
