Suggest a XLR cable with Bass Response

I have an ISO-Max Jensen transformer. This unit takes hi-level output from my amps and converts it to a balanced output for my subs. Works very well.

So, my question is can anyone suggest an XLR cable that is best for bass response? Not necessary bass boom but bass clarity.

Years ago, I thought the Cardas Golden Reference was good, but it may have just been the equipment that I had at that time.

So, can anyone recommend a cable?

Thanks for the suggestions! I will look into them.

The ISO-Max instructions says to use a short XLR interconnect 1 meter or less. I am currently using a DIY solid .9999 silver cable about .5M. So, I'm sure there must be better options.

I am no expert by any means but I use a 25ft pair of these XLRs from Pre-out to my subs. Works really well and sound great. DH Labs has a good reputation. For a really short run you could step up the line without spending crazy money, however the BL-1 is what they recommended for my subs. Not sure if they sell single cables. Can’t see why not though.

macg19,

I do have a 1/2-meter DH Labs cable somewhere and as I recall they were very good for the cost. Not sure if they would be the best for subs but they would be worth a try.

Alas, mine is RCA and I need XLR.

@ozzy If the DH Labs RCA is an upper tier model I may be interested in it if you have no use for it.
