Dynaudio Confidence Alternatives

With the recent news regarding Dynaudio’s departure from the U.S. market, I’ve decided to pursue alternatives to the Confidence 20. I currently have the Contour 20i and saved up $13k to invest in an upgrade. I have tried several speaker manufacturers in the past and keep coming back to the Dynaudio sound signature.

What I like most is the non-fatiguing resolution, overall body & weight of the sound they produce. I also enjoy the ability to play loud without losing any composure.

Suggestions are appreciated for those that have experience with the Dynaudio sound. I can stretch up to $15k if needed.

Thanks in advance.

Yamaha NS-2000A for 8k and some.change...Buddy of mine bought it and he has been wondering if he overpaid for a tad I sold him some years ago.

Even the nitpickiest wife should be able to admire the aesthetic of it.

You can only get something of this caliber for the price because Yamaha is a very charitable company.

The zylon drivers require some break-in.

Good luck

sticking with Dyn seems the better choice

Joseph Audio, Yamaha NS5000, Revel PerformaBe, Magico A series, or, for something different, Neumann KH 310 or 420.

While I’ve become a Sonus Farber fanboy, I think that if you did the research and really want the C20’s, go for it. And as far as the warranty, KEF is sold everywhere, but when I lost a Q-driver on my Refrence 5’s, I had to ship it to New Jersey and long story short, I ended up having to send both speakers to England! While they did send me back a brand new set of speakers, it was a pain and took months!
So what I’m saying, is that something can happen to a speaker whether they’re sold in the US or not.
