If you have a dealer in your region I suggest that you audition a pair of Rosso Fiorentino that is in your price range. The Arno 40 and the Fiesole 2 would be good candidates. When I went to AXPONA in 2018 I was very impressed by two reasonably priced speakers. One was the Fiesole and the other was the Dynaudio Contour 60.
Rosso Fiorentino speakers have received very good reviews and they are a favorite of several Youtube reviewers. I felt that the Fiesole's that I heard we some of the best sound at the show and they were under $10k. Sienna 2's were on my shortlist to audition but I had to abandon the idea because there is no dealer in the western US.
A couple months ago I bought my endgame speakers - a pair of Confidence 60's. I don't regret my decision, and in fact, I'm glad I bought them when I had the chance. I'm pretty sure that they will outlive me by a comfortable margin but if I need a new driver Dynaudio has stated that they will support their US customers. I'm watching to see what Dynaudio does with their unsold inventory. If they blow them out at attractive prices I may buy a pair of bookshelf speakers.
