Gone but not forgotten

I had a pair of Sonab OD-11 Cube speakers that were very enjoyable, punched quite above their class.  Wish I still had them.

Years later, I got a lot of stunning music from a system comprised of California Audio Labs transport and DAC (Alpha and Delta, I think), Audio Research LS3 (later an LS26) preamp, Krell KSA 200 amp and Thiel 3.6 speakers.  I miss all of those components and the synergy of the system.

Nakamichi, Acoustat, Shure phono cartridges, API (Sound Dynamics), Pono, Altec, Oppo, horn speakers, Win Labs, Infinity IRS and Genesis helmed by Arnie Nudell, DCM and Supratek.

There are probably more brands that have come and gone that I like than there are currently operating brands that I like.

Nakamichi lives on at my house....

PA-7A MKII amp and CA-7A pre-amp, both fully refurbished/restored.

I lament the loss of the Nakamichi company and OPPO disc players; and I fear soon Spectral Audio. I will put my "Immaculate, like brand new", near last manufactured Dragon Cassette Deck serial # A801-29325 for sale shortly with wired remote and original promotional literature. I also own one of the near last manufactured OPPO 205. I've been lucky
