late to streaming, recommendations?

Vinyl and tubes guy here but I recently got my act together and figured out how to do loseless spotify into my system using a dedicated computer, usb to Cambridge Audio DacMagic100 and then rca into my tube preamp.  sampling rate is 192 (whatever that means).  was a definite improvement over what I was doing before and streaming finally sounds pretty good to me.  Now I'm starting to use it a lot and wondering, well, how could it be better?  What would be the logical and most worth it bang-for-the-buck upgrade path for me?

I see the OP bought something and I hope he enjoys it.  I was posting here to push back against Eversolo recommendations.  There have been many people on these forums complaining that their Customer Support is non existent.  Because streamers are basically networking computers, they are not as plug and play as , say, a CD player.  Occasionally there will be WIFI and compatibility issues, and those of us who are not IT savvy might need some help

the u1 and u2 minis can benefit from the available (aftermarket) power supply upgrades in my experience

Congrats on the Lumin! Welcome to the club!

just ordered a audiograde usb cable

Shameless plug - my DH Labs Mirage is for sale on USAM ’cause I’ve gone optical fiber.

(I realize you just ordered but it’s a great cable for $175)

I think you should get a streamer with great software like Wiim, Bluesound, or Eversolo.  The main function of a streamer is giving you access to a lot of music without it being a pain in the ass.

People using expensive streamers with crappy software to tune their systems probably have a lot of room issues they don’t know about.  Even worse is people that spend big money on digital cables.  It’s like buying an expensive sports car and instead of going to the track and learning how to drive it, you just start modifying it with random parts.  You should learn how to extract the max performance with what you have first.

By far the worst advice I see on this forum is someone posts that they don't like the sound of their system.  Instead of teaching that person how to figure out what the problem is, you will get 25 different people recommending a  more expensive component.  Just randomly buying stuff.
