Cables do not just create a particular voicing to a system, when carefully thought through at the Source end. Not only the Cable/Signal Wire but also the cable connector selected and the chassis connectors being used have a substantial impact on how the end sound can be discerned, with smearing being removed and the following attractive traits manifesting: Attack - Coherence - Dynamics - Micro Dynamics - Envelope - Timbre - Tone.
I heard a comparison of Two Identical Cables using PC Triple C, where one had the factory supplied connected exchanged for Copper low-eddy connectors. These Cables were used on two phon's, where one had a common Copper low-mass connector and the other a partnering Copper low-eddy connector as used on the cable.
The outcome has been indelible, and I can only say at the current time that recollection is allowing me to state the effect of the Copper low-eddy RCA's used on both cable and chassis was seemingly tangible for what was able to manifest and is, in my view, the presentation to aspire to.
