top 5 NEW production 6sn7 tubes
I can also add I have Tung-sol and Electro Harmonix 6SN7's and neither of these have proved adequate to stop my purchasing NOS 1950's Tubes. But both are able to to produce a End Sound that is able to be lived with for extended periods.

Recommended a highly resolving cartridge
Adding the 1000X is an interesting way forward. I'm sure they are voiced differently, but it will be interesting to learn where they show other differences and how these are creating an impression. My experiences have led me to assess if all the...
Isolation devices
Barry Diament clearly describes how to produce the roller isolation that so many have copied and turned into a very very very nice cash producer. Even Townsend used Barry's design for their earliest designs for isolation platform models.   https...

@rocray Thevreport on the reliability of the Linlai E is quite something. Is there a opportunity to get them tested to see how they have maintained factory Spec'?

@honda the info relating to the more accurate question is certainly under discussion in the link. My take on things is a modern valve is made when the industry is far from its prime in relation to production. Skills once readily available are no ...

AirTight ATM-300 - new Coupling Caps
Being an individual reintroduced to 300B Amp design in both PP and SE over the past two years and hearing designs with Interstage Tranx's and Coupling Cap's, the experiences had changed a long term dislike I harboured towards such a Valve Amp.   ...
Phono Stage with XLR outs
The Reverse RIAA loaned to me, was a Hagerman design, so yes the link is possibly the exact same. Note: The advice for use, was to be at low volume, so I must reiterate what I was advised.  When the Phon' referred to was being designed/built, th...
