@robshaw Thanks for that comparison. I'm a detail, dynamics, soundstage junky so it sounds like the 16 would be the right choice for me. I've settled on a silver case and white meters. If I was getting a black amp I think I would have gotten amber. Anyhow, I'm really looking forward to having it in my system. Sometime you might try running your Encores with a good 300B amp if you can borrow one. I had the Tekton Moabs for a long time and an Aric Audio 300B was a great fit for those speakers. It is a different kind of sound. Not sure it would be better just different.

My Coda 16 just arrived yesterday. I ordered it in black with red meters. It’s very Darth Vader. I’ve never had anything with meters on it, so that keeps drawing my eyes. I wouldn’t have ordered with meters, but realistically it will eventually rotate out of the system and I thought meters might have more appeal for the next guy. Started the burn in with some Magico A1’s and there’s an unexpected synergy there. |
@pinwa Funny you mention the 300B from ERIC audio. I have, on order, a Jackpot, pre- amp from him. The wait is about 6 months, give or take. Looking forward to hearing my system, with his pre-amp. I will let you know. Thanks for the info on the 300B amp. Robert TN |

@robshaw I received my Jackpot from Aric about a week and a half ago. You won’t be disappointed! What a great sounding piece. I’ve been having a hard time pulling myself away from my listening chair! Mine was done a few weeks earlier than expected so, you MIGHT get yours a little earlier than expected (not trying to put pressure on Aric).
