@hanki   Jeff, tks so much. I am also quite happy with the Jackpot. Dialed in the sub for Rock and Roll.  Just sounds so much MORE, JUST MORE, but, in a very good way. I could use all the terms, but, I think you get what I'm trying to say. I'm sta...

@wharfy  Your statement would have made me laugh a short time ago. I am totally impressed, SS amp and tube pre. It opened up another window/dimension that I never imagined was there. Only have about 10 hrs or so, but, WOW. Had to make a few adjust...

@bbroussard Thank you for the post and advice. Regardless, I am going to take your advice and most others about getting adjusted to the new preamp and set up before rolling anything. Until now, I have had no experience with tubes what so ever. Now...

Taking my time and narrowing down the field a little. My first choice, So far, is the Wilson Sabrina X model. Reading all I can and researching. The new model is the V . I can't afford a NEW model Wilson though. The used market seems more to my li...
Seeking Recommendations for a Streamer (No DAC)
A good deal on a New Bricasti M5 streamer, NO DAC, approximately $2200    Used, I don't know? I stream Rock and Roll via the M5, and Meitner DAC,  using  Qobuz and Audirvana. Sounds wonderful!  Good luck!
Coda 16 Meter Color?
@hanki @larsman  Thanks for the correction, I was thinking of Eric from Tekton, not ARIC at the time, just shows getting older sucks. Yes looking forward to that comparison. I have 2 systems, both use a Benchmark LA-4 preamp currently. One of the ...
Coda 16 Meter Color?
@pinwa    Funny you mention the 300B from ERIC audio. I have,  on order,  a Jackpot,  pre- amp from him. The wait is about 6 months, give or take. Looking forward to hearing my system,  with his pre-amp. I will let you know.  Thanks for the info o...
Coda 16 Meter Color?
Very interesting. I have a Coda 8, and love it. Bought it used and it came with blue meters. Sounds and looks great. Don't know if I would ever sell it. I also just received,  2 weeks ago a silver Coda 16 with meters, AMBER, a demo, that I just c...
Favorite Led Zeppelin Album
For those of you that mentioned Allison Steele,  "The Night Bird" I believe it was WNEW FM 107.9? in NY. She came on around 11PM and was the absolute best!!! No jumping from genre to genre, No sudden turns. She led you through a nightly form of bl...
McIntosh amp dilemna
I have never heard the McIntosh, I'm sure it's top shelf. They are certainly very nice looking. I currently own a Coda 8 v1, and it is used in a strictly Rock and Roll music venue, with efficient large ( Tekton special Encore speakers)  that reall...
