Spouse and self are approaching 50 years of 'togetherness mess', not totally hell nor heavenly blissed fog. We're just happy to have found each other, stayed childless, and not screwed up anyones' elses' life.
She turns 70 the 11th; I hit 3/4s' of a century the 29th.
My 'birthday gift' 7/6 is a right hip total replacement, both appreciated and concerned over the pain, the bed immobility, and the physical therapy follow-on.
We're moving lock, stock, and audio to a new domicile while trying to sell our business where we've had an vaguely upstyled 'bikers' pad' within without the motorcycles. (We used to ride....too fragile of late, but still missing the thrill of it all....*sigh*).
I helped her through therapy for depression and tending bi-polar; she now supports me thru depression and a body that certainly ain't what it used to be if ever.
There was a concern and debate 'twixt my ortho surgeon, my 2 cardios', and my GP whether or not I'd wake from anesthesia
I 'got lost' for a moment when I received my TAVR surgery for a 2-flap aortic one.
I don't dream during anesthesia, wondering if I'll 'wake Elsewhere'.
