@blackbird55 First I've heard of this. No need to tell me how I should do research or post! If what you say is true its an obvious mistake. How many times have you seen audio companies with the exact same name? Maybe keep your opinions about how other people post to yourself! I was asking the OBVIOUS question!

If your referring to the cone speakers Dahlquist made at one time, in the past, they sold their design, German Physiks purchased all rights to that cone design and made improvements, which I own a pair of, wonderful speaker, I believe Dahlquist only makes wall speakers, and sub-woofers these days

SAE was a good company from, I think from California, I still have a tuner from SAE, which I no longer use, and has been out of business for a long time

krell was down, regarding business for a while, trying to make a come back, I have several models which I no longer use, due to needing service, not sure if they will service the old units, I know George Mayer will service just about any high end audio products, out of California

The SAE 2HPD did not get a very good review when it first came out.  It is not even close to the old SAE, James Borgiano Head designer in the old days is gone as are the other names that I have already forgotten.

@willywonka

Sorry for the miss understanding of my rebuttal to your post about SAE as being a Chinese brand, from my do your research comment that was not actually directed specifically at you but for all of us before we post. Also, you asked a? and I did not answer it as I should have by just saying (NO THEY ARE NOT THE SAME). I never meant to insult your intelligent by any means. I just worded things that made it sound like I was being specific to you. NOTE: I also made a mistake in my post pertaining to doing our research by saying you can purchase the unit in Los Angeles California at Scientific Audio Electronic store. They are now stationed at 400 Commonwealth Drive in Warmdale Pennsylvania. So, as you can see even, I am included in the wording of DO YOUR RESEARCH Comment because I was relying on my last understanding of SAE manufacturing location and they have moved to that new location in Pennsylvania. So, I Correct myself and I Apologize to you and everyone that read the post.

Good Day and Peace To ALL
