VPI 78 RPM pulley for motor ??

First off, Harry is very much alive and enjoying his semi-retirement.  Second, VPI has been closed for the holiday.  They are back to regular hours.

"You’ll need an AC line voltage regenerator with variable frequency that can go up to 105Hz and beyond to play 78rpm with a 45 pulley, since the speed of the synchronous motor is set by the wall outlet frequency. The SDS only goes up to 90Hz.

A good reverse-engineer can perhaps modify an off-the-shelf AC inverter to put out a different frequency, as was done here. "
