Advance Paris A12 v. McIntosh MA352
I'm looking into changing into a hybrid integrated amp. There are a number of them out there of course, but I am focusing in on two. Has anyone here compared the Advance Paris A12 to a McIntosh MA352 hybrid integrated amp? If so, how do they compare in terms of build quality, performance and value (especially since the price points on these two products is so far apart)? Or is such a comparison akin to apples v. airplanes (as in it is a ridiculous comparison)? Thanks everyone!

@vvvvvv6 most definitely has something going on here! I love it. And thanks! Insofar as other questions go: 1. The meters are not necessary in my opinion - don't get me wrong because I love 'em. But I can live if I don't have 'em. 2. I currently have a NAD M33 driving Klipsch Heresy II speakers - and they are on their way out for me; I'm looking hard at Sonus Faber Sonetto V (can't really afford Sonetto VIII which is my first choice). There is something about its class D amplification that just doesn't sit right with me - maybe I'm just a head case. I dunno.
I am also looking at the Moon 371 - I'll be auditioning them sometime next week. It's in a different class than the NAD M33 of course. So how's that for a change of direction? I know...I'm a head case. |
