How Much Have You Spent On Cables Throughout The Years. I'm Shocked When I Checked.

I buy at the low end of respected brands. Many times on eBay for well under MSRP. Also some dealer demos. I’ve still managed to spend hundreds for an entry level system. I can only really hear differences with analog cable applications. And only barely. I like having “better” cables in my system because it makes me feel better.

Why do people who hear no differences in cables insist that no one else can hear it either?  

I’ve never not heard a difference.  It’s subtle, but audible....sometimes it takes a while to notice.  Before the internet was a thing, I had no idea there was even controversy about it.  I suppose some people struggle to carry a tune too, or to hear and sing a harmony part..... oh well, I can’t throw a 95 mph fastball, but some can.

What time are the Israeli dancing girls scheduled to perform?

I have approx. 12-13% of my system cost in cables.  If you have a revealing system, you will hear the difference between cables.  If you don't, well, don't bother.

As to the question as to what has been spent. I don’t especially care. I’m happy. “Judge not, least you be judged.”

A few years ago I asked my wife (who could care less) and two young woman to listen to some power cables. Four were sampled. They are picked the most expensive one. Is this a large core sample or scientific? Nah.
