Released 55 years on this day

And a bearded lady said to me
If you start your raving
And your misbehaving
You'll be sorry
And the chicken fancier came to play
With his long red beard
And his sister's weird--
She drives a lorry

Tull albums are one of my favorites, certainly in my top five of all artists. My big three are "Aqualung", "Thick as a Brick" and "Benefit". Followed closely by "Stand Up" and "This Was". I feel like I've spent a small fortune on all the iterations of the Tull catalogue, including Steve Wilson versions, MFSL, UK pressings, original US Chrysalis pressings, CDs and cassettes. Happy to have them all!

@jbuhl , +1 on Ian kicking Martin Barre out of the band he was in for almost 50 years.  I saw them 27 times between 1970 through 1980. After 1980 I saw them 3 more times but it was not the same.  I saw their 50 years of Tull at the casino in Connecticut.  Every musician that played with Tull was recognized EXCEPT Martin Barre.  After that, I no longer listen to Tull, screw Ian Anderson for stealing away Martins retirement.  After 50 years of playing second fiddle to a flute, Martin deserved much better.

Martins was a strong part of the band , I still listen to Al their classics ,

I listen to the music and put the persona issues out of it .

look at the Beatles George Harrison was pushed aside by Paul and John that is when he had enough , Still greatness as a group !!
