Seeking CD Player with Digital Inputs

I have a friend who I'm helping to put together his first reasonable stereo.  He needs a source.  We were thinking that he could get a lot out of a CD player with digital inputs - one could be used for his TV (optical) and one for a streamer (coax).  Does such a thing exist?  Or would it be better to look for a DAC with three digital inputs (CD, streamer, TV).  Thanks in advance for any ideas.

All the Oppo players had digital inputs and their successor UDPs, Reavon and Magnetar.  I would probably opt for a separate DAC transport.  If connecting a TV is a priority make sure that there are compatible connections before purchasing

If you intend to use a dedicated external DAC, why would you connect a source such as a streamer to a CD player and then to the DAC? Doing so increases the signal path and may degrade sound quality.

I would suggest a DAC or a DDC with multiple digital inputs such as Laiv micro DDC as a hub.  It cleans the signal instead of just lengthening your signal path without benefit.

Yes there are cd players with digital inputs. Depending on budget, a better option could be an external dac or integrated amp with built in dac that can support multiple digital inputs.
So what’s the budget? Is there an already existing amp where this will be connected to?

Thanks for asking about the budget.  This is definitely a BUDGET system.  Used is OK (especially for the DAC, with no moving parts).  I would say we'd like to keep the whole digital chain at or below $400.  The TV has an optical out and I believe has HDMI out.
