Recommendations for Relaxation/Fall asleep music ?

Can anyone recommend some albums for bedtime to help slow down the brain and fall asleep ?  I stream from Tidal. Thanks.

When I was in the military, I used to play ocean sound CD's on my system to fall asleep(had my own room). I also had Lagoon and Swamp versions. My dreams were VIVID.

Look up Dan Gibson.  He’s put out a ton of relaxation albums. Check out any of the Solitude’s albums.

Very nice thread, I bookmarked a bunch for myself!
Musical taste (and what puts us to sleep) is a funny and unpredictable thing.

Michael A. Muller : Mirror Music
The Durutti Column : Sunlight to Blue… Blue to Blackness
Daniel Lanois : Goodbye to language
Cocteau Twins : The Moon and the Melodies (with Harold Budd!)
Max Richter : Voices 2
Chet Baker : Soundtrack of “Let’s get lost”
Floating Points : Promises
Vikingur Olafsson : From Afar (Reworks) & Continuum (Bach)

To put my own taste into context, the recommendations I am “vibing” with the most (and won’t repeat here) were from:
@rbrowne
@thecarpathian
@sfgak
@gita
And @viridian for the excellent chuckle early on in this thread

Nothing wrong with calming music, but it can be more effective if you:

Exercise daily, several hours before bedtime.

Drink half your weight in ounces of water daily, stopping several hours before bed.

Limit or eliminate sugar.

No caffeine after mid-afternoon.

No chocolate after mid-afternoon

Reduce or eliminate alcohol

Very dark, cool room

White noise generator

Meditation

Wait until you start to feel sleepy before getting into bed
