I purchase Panzerholz directly from them as I leave the next city over.
They had skids and racks full of Panzerholz when I picked up my custom pieces
Recommendations for custom amp stands?
My new amps (Jadis JA-200 MkII) do not fit on my current stands and they are odd sized".
I have some ideas on how to adapt my current stand and a homemade solution (I am fairly handy) but wonder about any custom stand makers that wont break the bank.
I need 2 stands to fit 2 12"x27" chassis each or 4 stands to 1 12"x 27" chassis each.
Thoughts?
@923mary - thanks for posting your panzerholz source- was unsuccessful searching for a NAmerican source.
Thanks for the referral. Seems largest is 18x18 which would fit my feet exactly, thinking I’ll need a larger piece.
@tomic601 - for my Audionet Humboldt platform, I’m debating between your panzerholz+HRS Nimbus vs HRS M3X2 Isolation Base which is significantly costlier. Any opinions? |
I have both sort of… all my turntables ( 4 ) live on some model of HRS base typically w Vortex between the component and base. As you know not an inexpensive endeavor but I do believe it’s probably better than Panzerholtz plus Nimbus. Probably not the definitive answer you are hoping for… @kennyc in a 2nd system I use a combination of Nimbus and Core Audio Design shelves… total cost probably a bit less than HRS… in my application very effective best to you in music jim

I’ll probably get CMS Center Stage between component and base expecting an extended period of roller coaster Sonics before settling. |
Massifaudiodesign.com Trevor at Massif is a craftsman who makes audio racks and amp stands out of solid wood. I have been through a lot of amp stands over the years and my Massif stands are far and away the best. Mine consist of a solid maple platform with African bubinga legs and Carbide Base isolation feet. |
