USB cable recommendations

I recently purchased the Bricasti M3 for my system & am looking to upgrade my A-B USB cable. I currently have 2 USB cables that I used with my prior DAC (Qutest), a Cardas Clear that I preferred with my Qutest & an XLO ultra plus that I far prefer with my M3. It is OCC copper & actually sounds very good, but wondering if I can do better.
My target price is around $500 used, certainly willing to do less & willing to do more for the ’right’ cable. I am looking for a cable that is absolutely neutral.
I actually tried to buy an AQ diamond used yesterday, but was 2 hours late. Not sure if it was the right choice, but it was a great price & could resell if not right.

My virtual system is available, but my digital side is: Aurender N150 > XLO ultra+ > Bricasti M3 > Zavfino Arcadia > PSAudio BHK w/tele medical NOS tubes > Zavfino Fusion mk2 > SimAudio Moon 330A > Transparent + gen 5 > KEF Reference 3’s.

Please let me know your thoughts and/or recommendations. Thanks!

My recent USB experiments involved Clarus Crimson, Crystal Cable Diamond, Audience Frontrow, Pink Faun, Veritas Audax, and a Chord Company Shawline.

I liked the Veritas Cables Audax and the Pink Faun USB better than all the rest, with the Veritas giving by far the most value for money. The Audience was also very good. After that it was Clarus, Chord, then Crystal Cable, in that order.

Probably with different gear I may have come to some different conclusions. But I suspect my top 3 would remain even if they maybe switched order a little.

@kwameofori Thanks. A 1.5M Pebble Consequence demo is On the way.

@v-fi Great shoot out. Read great things about the Pink Faun & Clarus Crimson, others have sung the praises of Audience. The Veritas is a major surprise. If I could find a pink faun used… Thanks

Signaforce received your PM but unable to reply b/c I refuse to give Agon my CC info. Yes I have used Audiomica cables for a long time. They are neutral or some say very balanced sounding and as you go up their line (I think they have 5 or 6 series) they become more resolving without being bright or edgy. I currently use some of their Excellence Series as well as their Consequence Series. If I could afford it all my cables would be from the Consequence line. Unfortunately I've never required a USB cable but I'd be surprised if you didn't like it. Please keep us posted once you hear it.

@fire_water I have not tried any audience products truth be told.  There are so many manufacturers.  But compared to stock vs wire world platinum, there was a big jump to the Alpha.  That being said I'd love to try some audience stuff in general. But we can't try every cable can we?  There's a certain point after comparing 3 or 4 cables when I feel it's time to just listen to the music right?  Best of luck to all on their cable hunts.  Biggest suggestion I can give is compare at least e different cables!

+1 audience studio one $895

Have a Bricasti M3 as well.  My streaming system consists of a Innuos zenith mk3, Innuos phoenix USB, Bricasti M3, to an Anthem pre-amp. I also own the innuos Phoenix NET Ethernet switch,

Borrowed two cables from the lending library at The Cable Company (thecableco.com).  Was set to buy the DH Labs Mirage ($295) and then connected the audience studio one ($895) that @audphile1 recommended (see below) in an earlier post of mine. Wow, the sound became fuller, holographic and resulted in an amazing soundstage.  Yes, the Mirage was good, but the studio one was fantastic to my ears.

good luck!

@audphile1 “Audience StudioOne - excellent cable. This is the one I ended up using until I sold my N200. Natural and fatigue-free sound, great tone.”
