Bowers and Wilkins Kevlar Age Discoloration, Restore?

I know what you mean @bartsw !  I have a pair of 802N and had to replace a midrange.   There is a slight color change.   But I don’t know of any way to un-fade the Kevlar.    I had the spare driver since the day I bought them, so it had probably discolored some in the box.   Keep the covers on them when not using and it will help prevent more discoloration.  Merry Christmas!  

Kevlar is naturally yellow-gold when new.  Surface discoloration usually indicates UV degradation, which causes the colour to darken and reduced tensile strength.

Unfortunately, UV degradation cannot be reversed.  Kevlar should be shielded from direct sunlight .

I was thinking it was UV. I'm just going to keep the cover on. I'd be curious to see what will eventually happen to the D3-D4 silver fabric.
