@rocray Thevreport on the reliability of the Linlai E is quite something. Is there a opportunity to get them tested to see how they have maintained factory Spec'?

@pindac ,Unfortunately,I have zero experience regarding anyone that tests tubes around me. The test result cards that come with these are,in my opinion, somewhat sketchy to start out with. I took the plunge knowing this, and upon a recommendation, didn’t look back. Of course, like everything, your mileage may vary. |
I am with @rocray on the Linlai E being a great sounding and so far a long lived tube. I installed a pair 2 years ago in a Dennis Had Dragon Inspire headphone amp, replacing a pair and then another pair of Shuguang WE 6SN7Plus tubes that just would not last. The Linlai have well over a 1,000 hours and still sound great with no signs of a change in sound and they are as sweet sounding as the Shuguang tubes. BTW my back up tubes are Sylvania NOS WGT tubes that sound marvelous but will not spend that kind of $ again with the Linlai available. Enjoy the music |
My back up tubes are also the Linlai E’s. They are already burned in. If those go under, I still have the Ken Rads. @tooblue, I understand what you’re saying about NOS tubes in general. The prices are climbing as stock declines. I have enough stock of NOS tubes to tide me over should I live to 200 or so. That being said, everyone’s hearing is different. Mileage may vary. |
