Greg Allman- Laid Back

If your not familiar with this...Give it a listen.

This was Greg"s first solo record. He incorporated some horns that the Allman Brothers band resisted using.

This is an absolutely beautiful piece of music. Almost a Gospel type vibe.

This is one of my go to early morning listens. Go's great with my tea.

Just my opinion.

However, I’ve never enjoyed the (to my ear), heavy-handed arrangements and thus, do not own a copy. Too bad the Deluxe version didn’t include the same tracks without the "sweetening". I'm probably an outlier in this regard, though.

It was Gregg’s last album and it sounds as if he is very aware of that. Great album. It has the horns and all like "Laid Back". It even closes with a Jackson Browne song with Jackson adding vocals. Full circle.
