Greg Allman- Laid Back

If your not familiar with this...Give it a listen.

This was Greg"s first solo record. He incorporated some horns that the Allman Brothers band resisted using.

This is an absolutely beautiful piece of music. Almost a Gospel type vibe.

This is one of my go to early morning listens. Go's great with my tea.

Just my opinion.

Have you listened to "Southern Blood".  It was Gregg’s last album and it sounds as if he is very aware of that.  Great album.  It has the horns and all like "Laid Back".  It even closes with a Jackson Browne song with Jackson adding vocals.  Full circle.

Gregg had such a soulful voice.  It’s great on the songs he chose for his solo albums including Laid Back.  The title says it all.
