all the frills, and a tube tuner as well, why not if it sounds awesome.
I use a SUT for my LOMC so I can keep using the mx110z’s MM Phono
this is what convinced me to try one. I used mine for 2 years then had Audio Classics refurb mine, the best thing they did was change all the jack panels to new gold plated rca jacks.

feature full, I’m not living without my McIntosh Mode Switch, a great tool when adjusting my speaker’s L-Pads, and Mono Mode listening to Mono LPs.

for remote volume, and remote balance, I use one of these Chase RLC-1 remote line controllers.

You can use it optionally thru the tape monitor loop, doesn’t matter, no one here has ever been able to detect if it is in or out, simply benefit from it’s features.
I use one in each of my 3 systems: Main; Office; Shop/Garage
