Can Audiogon compete with AudioMart (US and Canuck)
audiogon is more of a specialty market--that specialty bein $10k and up. USAM and CAM are for everyone, audiogo is more for audiogon, like audiocircle trading post was. there is overlap, but theyre not in competition.

Tubes vs Tubeless
folks who compare tube amps of the same quality to their solid state tend to prefer tubes for a more lifelike realistic sound. its pretty common for audiophiles to go from solid state to tube but not too common to go the other way.
