Review: Mad Scientist White Magic Interconnects

Allowing the full burn in to complete with my new AC power cord, then I'll remove the previous Mad Scientist's Black magic and install the new Mad Scientist White Magic Interconnects. Could there be an improvement? Not holding my breath. But I read about the new super secret material being used and read a crazy impressed review so, I had to know! Tomorrow I'm putting them in no matter what. Just want to be settled on what this new power cable has done before I move on. Curious? me too

@everhard  Yeah this topic has been discussed ad nauseam so won’t discuss why here, but suffice it to say power cables matter a lot.  There are plenty of quality cable manufacturers who sell direct and offer generous trial periods, so there’s no excuse not to at least try some and hear for yourself.  On the lower end there’s something like the Ice Age Audio Frankencable on up to higher-end cables like Snake River Audio and everything in between so have at it.  BTW, glad to hear the Viagra’s working. 😝

A question regarding either version of the Mad Scientist cables; are they at all thin sounding?  Or do they have a " weighty" sound?

I bought the Prime version of White Magic rca a couple months back. I like them better than my Driade Flow 808 with Fidelium SC. Tone is very rich and there is greater transparency and space around instruments. Still haven’t gotten to 200 hrs but there was a point where they sounded more mechanical ( I know, I know…I’m not good at describing this stuff).

Still need to eventually try Jeff’s interconnects, but these are the best I’ve heard at this price point.

I went with the Mad Scientist White Magic USB cable a couple months ago and it is an exceptional piece of work.  It certainly beats his Black Magic version, and handily beat a Callisto and Shunyata Omega too.....at least in my system and to my hearing.  Very pleased with the purchase.
