Are there any recording artists you just can’t listen too?

For me there is one that has always been top of the list.

Edith Piaf…..l just can’t think of anything worse.

Do not get me wrong and consider my choice is in any way racist….l love to listen to music with songs in any language… Italian, French, Spanish…..

Russian and German can however be extremely demanding, but Edith Piaf (if possible in any language) is a potential harrowing experience.

 

Do any others on here have a similar artist, or artists that can trigger the same physical reaction?

Seems like it boils down to any music that exists, somebody is gonna hate and somebody else is gonna love.

If this was about what CONCERTS to avoid, it would be Dave.  I like a lot of the music, so decided to go.  There are crowds of friends talking loudly and not even watching.  Then, on cue, they all turn and recite the refrains yelling Ioudly.  After, they return to talking  and not watching or listening.  You could not even hear the good parts, of which there are many.  BTW, I LOVE ‘Cortez the Killer’ live in NY w Warren Haynes.  Good things the mikes are in front of most of the crowd!

For me there are many, but Neil Diamond is near the top My Son knew it and always had Neil playing on his car stereo whenever he had to pick me up in his car
