Best streamer to replace my Mac Mini?

I'm looking for a streamer that cost around $2,000 to replace my Mac Mini. I'm torn between the Auralic S1, Lumen U2 Mini, and the Eversolo A8. Any suggestions out of those 3? Using the dac in my Macintosh MA9500.

Thanks

@jastralfu - yeah, I get that. Although 5 years is enough to write *a lot* of code really. However, the comment was "that the operating system alone, took five years at a considerable cost" - hence my question.

That's an expensive operating system in the EVO eh!  Looks like my power supply went bad. I've purchased a new one for 18 bucks.

@mikhailark fair enough, I guess I need to brush up on my reading comprehension!  As a software engineer I can see spending five years working on software to improve performance, add functionality, and fix bugs.  On a slightly different subject, looked at the 432evo and I don’t like having to use either Logitech or Roon to manage music.

@jastralfu - yeah, i am retired SWE as well. I don't want Roon either so I went with Aurender, they have standalone app.

the operating system is completely  custom based does a number of things designed to improve sound quality, for  example Roon or Logitech the music management software runs in its own core of the CPU, while other processes are run in a separate core, and caching files run on yet another core.

The software  also eliminates typical “chaos” found inside the OS of many other servers, by using advanced kernel & process tuning configurations further lowering software jitter by reducing unnecessary computing processes and minimizing noise. This is a remarkable achievement and key to it’s stellar performance.

Using custom BIOS and kernel tuning, the EVO actually shuts down chip functionality on the motherboard, so it acts like a software defined custom motherboard. The big advantage of this approach is that the server is future proof. If faster and/or better sounding main boards become available, the customer will be able to upgrade. We already offer this to existing customers.

We use a custom Realtime Linux OS, refined and tuned by 432 EVO’s owner Frederic Vanden Poel, who is also a senior Linux consultant building with 20+ years of IT experience. The EVO can be on 24/7 and will never run hot, always running cool while sounding analog and very refined.

the combination of custom software, a very quiet and fast motherboard, superb external power supplies, and in the higher end models, a  superb external clock board and USB sound card maximize the servers performance far exceeding the starter Standard.
