What's Your Fantasy Supergroup?

Throughout the history of rock various established artist have joined together to form supergroups.  Groups along the lines of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Asia, Blindfaith, Traveling Wilburrys, etc.  So my challenge is for you to put together what you think would be a great band consisting of well known artists.  The only guidelines I would offer is that the proposed band would have a primary vocalist and at least one songwriter.
Here's my fantasy band (a soul/gospel/funk outfit with a taste of New Orleans):
Mtume - percussionZiggy Modeliste - drumsJames Jamerson - bass guitarDavid Williams - rhythm guitarMac Rebennack - keyboardsPrince Rogers Nelson - lead guitar, vocalsAretha Franklin - piano, vocals

Having heard Yoko Ono cover Adele, I think Adele should be added to the supergroup so that they can sing duets while looking lovingly into each other's eyes:

The concept of the Supergroup always seemed to be flawed in that it's so hard to size up or predict chemistry between the musicians.  They always seem to disappoint I think because they take a professional approach to producing their music under this platform instead of being really emotionally derived.  I know I'm generalizing but chemistry is so important...it is art after all.
Of course easy to answer:  john paul george and ringo, but not a fantasy at all, is it/was it?
Led Zep was considered a "supergroup" by some critics when they formed. They were initially dismissed for this reason. Regardless of whether they were a "supergroup" at inception or not......the chemistry was there.
