Best CD I've heard so far 2011.........

The debut album from husband/wife team The Tedeschi Trucks band (album titles is Revelator). I think this album is tremendous.

OK, that's the third time I've heard that in three days so I'm going to have to give it a listen. Thanks for that, I do enjoy the wife's solo stuff.

Here are some new bands that deserve your attention. From NZ, a great new kiwi band is The Naked & Famous. From the UK, I love three new bands: Big Deal, Cat's Eyes and Polarsets.

Four U.S. Indie bands I love are Cults, Eisley, Givers, and WU LYF. For lovers of 70's and 80's AOR, I can highly recommend Eisley from Tyler, Texas.

Desalvo, Big fan of Zero 7 here. "When It Falls" is a terrific album if youre into that laid back, semi-spacey vibe. Great harmonies! Sia does have a nice voice but so does the other girl.
