Amplifier upgrade or speaker upgrade

Hey all - so, the choice is between sending my LSA Signature off to get upgraded to the top-of-the-line Statement series OR ordering and installing the beryllium tweeters for my Reference 3A de Capo's. I can't do both now.

Which do you think would give the best sonic boost?

Thank you for any insight you may be able to give.

IMHO, the maxim sh#t in, sh#t out holds true. Your speakers will reflect only what is fed to them. So, if the upgrade to your power amp will be significant, then I would upgrade the amp. Just my $0.02. Good luck.

+1 upgrade your amp, your speakers will perform better.

Yes, amp. Most speakers have significant upside potential when fed with good upstream components.

I'm leaning towards sending off the LSA to Brian Wolford for the Statement upgrade. It seems an awesome bang for the buck - unlike much of my Vegas experience...

If in the end you'll do both, I suggest upgrading the speakers first.
