Are there any current production great speakers using AMT tweeters?

Back in the day, I had fallen in love with the ESS Heil AMT speakers, which were always too large and too expensive.    Now that I am looking for a new speaker, I am wondering if there are any current high end monitors that use these tweeters?  Or have good ribbons made the AMT tweeters less desirable?

My budget is in the $5k to $15k range, new or used, so don’t tell me about some of the $1k speakers that I know are out there, no matter how good they might be.

Stand mount is preferable, but a floor standing with a small footprint might be workable in my smallish room.

No mention of a fine brand from Germany: Fischer & Fischer. Their entire line includes Mundorf AMT tweeters and they are unique speakers made from slate. A local buddy owns a pair of the SN 470M's and I've heard them several times. With NAT Audio mono tube amps, a Lampi Pacific DAC and a Lumin U2 streamer the sound he gets is arresting to me. Stunning imaging and soundstage. I want that too. I plan to upgrade to those same speakers. F&F offer bookshelves for your consideration within your price range. Good luck on your search.

I asked this question a while back for the same reason. HEIL tweeters just sound correct to me as well. I was given Lawrence audio and Qualio IQ.

I am bothered by metal dome tweeters with ringing and harshness. And to my ears silk dome tweeters roll off or die quickly after 14K hz. Lose trailing edge and details.
But it seems like most newer AMT designs run the tweeters hot. I like to hear cymbals and tambourines but they don’t have to be the main focus. A triangle should not make you jump in your seat. I completely understand the original post and wonder the same.

It’s interesting, for DIY’ers, I’ve seen ribbon tweeters from $15 ea. to $500 ea. I’ve also seen AMT’s individually and in arrays on pre-built speakers. Wide range of prices and applications.
